Our Beginnings.
Awakening House of Prayer - Birmingham, was birthed in May 2020, to bring forth a ministry of prayer and worship, in Birmingham, Alabama. Since then it has become a prophetic church, with the heart to equip the bride.
Our Mission
Our mission is to see Awakening, Transformation, and Kingdom growth in Birmingham, and the surrounding regions starting with one individual person at a time. Doing all this with an emphasis on prayer and worship, combined with Spirit led, bible-based teachings from AHOP leaders or Guest speakers. Our heart is that everyone experiences the presence of God, and not one person be left behind.
Our culture
At AHOP - BHAM we seek to equip people not only to be strong in the word or their gifting, but to be strong in every area of the Christian walk. When you come in, we pray you can feel the love of God, and find a community. Our desire is to be a home to the homeless, friend to friendless, and a church for the churchless.
